There’s a few bottles out there that offer a filter to clean tap water. WaterFiller is one of the newer ones. This bottle comes with a foam filter that cleans water from chlorine, bad tastes and odors from water before you drink it. The bottle has a new shape that takes one hand to operate, leaving the other free for tasks, such as keeping a hand on your handlebars.

The WaterFiller bottle has a trigger that opens cover and pops up the straw for drinking. The straw is concealed to keep clean when not in use. The oval-shaped straw fits more naturally in your mouth than a round straw, the company says. The bottle comes with two straws: one to use with a filter for water, and a second for use without a filter for drinking juice and other liquids. Replacement filters come in three-packs.
The bottle is made from BPA-fee Triton plastic that will not leach chemicals or give off a plastic taste in your water. WaterFiller runs $24.95 on the website, and a three-pack of replacement filters costs $9.95.
WaterFiller looks handy and easy to hold. It’s probably easy to carry along on walks and runs. We’re not sure how well it will fit into the water bottle cage on a bike, though it might be possible, and get out with one hand, as promised.
