The Speed Squat Short from Lululemon offers a flexible stretch and a little bit of modesty in one short. The short has an inner layer, bicycle-style short that fits snugly to the mid-thigh. A second layer of a lighter material layers over that tight short for a little cover so you don’t feel exposed when you’re on your run, or hanging about afterwards.
The inner lining is made from Luxtreme, a fabric Lululemon uses that is fast wicking in order to draw moisture and sweat away from your body, then dry quickly. The outer later is made from Swift, a lightweight fabric that also wick moisture. Both fabrics are also chafe resistant, and offer two-way stretch and breathability. Three pockets help you store your essentials including keys and ID. A zipper pocket on the leg of the liner looks like it will fit some MP3 players or even a cell phone and hold it securely while you run.
One feature I like is the cinch continuous drawcord. This lets you snug the waistband up to fit you. But since it’s a continuous cord, it won’t get lost in the laundry. For some reason my washing machine really likes messing with anything with a drawstring.
