When is something “hands free” if it is still within hands reach, and actually worn a bit like a glove? This is the first question that comes to mind with the Salomon Sense Hydro S-Lab set, which are sort of like gloves with a water bottle attached.
Technically these are “hands free” in that they are worn so you don’t have to actually hold a water bottle. Each bottle offers about 16.9 ounces of water, and when empty it can be rolled up to be stashed in a pocket. The idea here is that runners aren’t actively holding the bottle, so energy is actually saved and you can concentrate on the road not on the bottle. We’ll have to try to get a hold of a pair and see if we actually notice the difference.
