When cycling, I use the Strava app on my Android phone as a cycling computer. This is great to track distance, speed, and even where I bike. However it doesn’t help me so much when my phone is in my back pocket and I can’t access that information.
BioLogic has a handlebar mount and case that fits a range of Android phones so you can access your phone, apps and even the camera to film your bike rides.
“Our Bike Mount for iPhone allowed people to use an iPhone on their bikes as a powerful cycling computer and we wanted to give this ability to Android users as well,” said Kevin Chan, project manager for BioLogic, in a statement. “There are a lot of free and paid cycling apps for Android smartphones, but no really good way to mount one to a bike. Our product not only securely attaches your phone to a bike, but also protects it against weather, sweat, grime and shock.”
The case is adaptable to a number of Android handsets by slipping in the appropriate spacer. A window lets you use the touchscreen while riding, and a clear window over the camera lens makes it possible to film video of your rides.
The BioLogic Bike Mount for Android is compatible with the Samsung Galaxy SII, HTC Desire HD, HTC Evo 4G, HTC Inspire 4G, Samsung Galaxy S, LG Optimus 2X, and HTC Sensation. You buy the mount and case, and then you have to buy the liner specific to your phone separately.
