Practicing yoga during the summer, or in hot studios as practiced with Hatha (or “hot”) yoga, sometimes doesn’t seem compatible. The heat makes you sweat, and sweat makes you slip on the mat or floor. The right gear can turn you from someone who does yoga to a Yogi. Stick-e was created for just that purpose: to keep sweaty hands and feet from slipping on the yoga mat. The line started with a few simple items: A pair of fingerless gloves and a pair of socks that let your toes free. The palms and soles were painted with a rubbery material that sticks just enough to the yoga mat or hardwood floors of many yoga studios. This helps you achieve and maintain poses throughout class, even when things heat up. A few additional items such as the wrist support and padding and support for knees added more diversity to the Stick-e brand. Both help cushion those areas that feel the most strain on some crucial poses.

While yoga is the mainstay of the brand, Stick-e has a whole catalog of products that support yoga and other exercise disciplines. A Yoga Towel has the same rubberized texture on the bottom so your towel doesn’t slide on the mat throughout class. A Yoga Lasso Strap helps you pull deeper into poses. You can attach the strap to your toes and pull them closer to your head as you feel the stretch.

A not-so-yoga product, the Beamfit combined with Wrist Saver Block gives you a core workout in just a few moves. The beam simulates the top of a balance beam used in gymnastics, though since it’s on the floor it’s less expensive and less risky.
