It is hard to believe that the scooter craze hasn’t died down, and harder still to believe that there is still yet more innovation in scooters. But our friends at BikeRadar.com noted that there is a new game in town – or at least from the town of Manchester in the U.K. Swifty Scooters is rolling out the SwiftyOne scooter, which is designed for fast travel on flat ground.
Made by the husband and wife team of Jason and Camila Iftakhar, this isn’t the basic scooter either, as it features 16-inch wheels and more response steering, which according to the makers can travel as fast as a bike on flat ground. The scooter can fold up and roll on the front wheel.
The scooter, which officially launched last week, is now available at retailers in the U.K. for £450, but if this thing hits the ground rolling overseas, it could just launch a new British invasion on two wheels.
