As reported by Truckinginfo, Peter Taunton, CEO and founder of Snap Fitness, said the 960-square-foot workout centers, “are designed to accommodate the trucking community and those who travel frequently for business or vacation, so they can get the workouts they need quickly and conveniently.”
The new Snap Fitness Rolling Strong fitness clubs will start to appear later this year at the Pilot Flying J truck stops and a total of 10 clubs will be open by the first quarter of 2012. Each club will be staffed by professionally trained individuals and include similar high-end fitness equipment that you might find in your own health club. In an industry driven by deadlines and the all mighty dollar, the monthly membership dues are only $29.95 for those in the trucking community; and along with the 10 clubs located at the Pilot Flying J truck stops, member have access to any of the 1,300 Snap Fitness locations worldwide. If you have a family that would also like to use the Snap Fitness Rolling Strong clubs, family membership options are also available.
Along with the onsite fitness professionals and use of the fitness equipment, specially designed nutrition and workout programs are also available to promote and better driver wellness.
