Though there are plenty of young players on the course, golf still conjures up images of Ted Knight and the pompous golfer he played in Caddy Shack. The golf ball manufacturer, PunkRockz, has made it their mission to change the way golf is viewed.

The Skull uses a 360 degree printing method which covers every square inch of the ball in vivid detail. The printing on the ball is comprised of an agua skull with tribal wings, layered over a hot magenta burst that is bright and aggressive – the The Skull certainly will be no mistaken for your buddies Titleist. Wrapping the rest of the ball is the grunge green velvet wall paper along with the PunkRockz shield logo. Shunning the numbering convention of typical golf balls, PunkRockz uses their own system with inspiration from the dots on casino dice.
As with most pieces of sporting equipment, beauty has to be more than skin deep and PunkRockz has designed their balls to also perform. The Skull uses a two layer construction, designed for distance and soft feel. “This low spinning ball is explosive from the tee box providing generous roll on the fairways.” The 392 dimple pattern consistently improves ball flight and the softened core has a compression rating of 85. The cover is comprised of a clear Dupont Surlyn® ionomer, which translates into a durable, cut proof and forgiving hitting surface off of both irons and woods.
