Eurobike 2011 Recap

KineticShift wasn’t able to head to Europe this year, and while we’re about to shift into full gear for Interbike in Las Vegas next week a number of product announcements caught our eyes. We have compiled a round-up of the can’t miss products for 2012 and beyond.

The Octane SL III from Peal Izumi won’t be here until February of next year, but these lean cycling shoes weigh in at less than 7 ounces thanks to the use of mesh upper and carbon sole. While a hefty $350, these cycling shoes might be worth every penny. [Via GearJunkie]

Shimano’s Ultegra Di2 was turning heads at Eurobike, and is “only” half the price of Dura Ace Di2. How can we not upgrade to it? [Via BikeRadar.com]

There will always be some products that we won’t see at Interbike simply because they won’t make it to America. Unfortunately this includes anything from Yorkshire mountain bike specialist Orange. The UK-based company is now reportedly testing the waters with its carbO road bike, but only 60 of these will be built. [Via Road.cc]
