DannyShane Takes it in Trade

It may be a crash, or just seasons of wear, but at some point, every jersey has to be retired. And sometimes you buy a jersey that just doesn’t fit and you start eyeing newer, shapelier jerseys out there. If the latter is the case, DannyShane has a deal for you. Between now and June 15 of this year, DannyShane will take any brand new or gently used cycling jersey as a trade-in when you upgrade to any of the cycling wear company’s jerseys or bibs. For the trade, you’ll receive a $22 trade-in rebate. The jerseys that the company gets in this initiative will benefit the Cadence Cycling Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping youth aged 9-18 create opportunities through cycling. DannyShane will donate all trade-in jerseys to the Cadence Cycling Foundation.

To take part in this trade-in program, place an order through DannyShane’s web site or bring your jersey to a participating bike shop. Customers will be provided with a postage-paid package and rebate card. Once DannyShane receives the jersey and rebate card, a check will be sent to the customer.

This is not the first jersey trade-in program. Women’s cycling clothing company Loeka has an ongoing trade-in program. Loeka uses the trade-in jerseys to manufacture marketing materials, banners and other non-clothing goods. Not that we wouldn’t want to see our old jerseys and shorts put back into clothes.
