Bowling pretty much remains the de facto demo game for the Nintendo Wii. Even after several holiday seasons, bowling is the game that just remains the gold standard for the Wii. And soon golf could do the same for the PlayStation Move, but not just any golf. We’re talking about O-Games newly released John Daly’s ProStroke Golf, which will arrive next week in North America.
This game will unleash “The Lion” into living rooms around the country, and while it will be available for the Xbox 360 later this month, it is the PlayStation 3 version, which utilizes PlayStation Move technology, that will make this game stand out. It provides a first-person view of the ball and club head, while letting players make a “natural” golf swing with the Move controller. This will let you stay in the swing of things throughout the fall and winter season.
“John Daly’s ProStroke Golf represents the next chapter in an exciting adventure we started with Gusto Games back in the PlayStation 2 era,” says Jim Scott, CEO of O-Games. “Given his eye-catching ability, personality and style, John Daly was a natural choice for us to front the title and we’re confident his fans, and golf fans in general, will be suitably impressed.”
This is one golf game that might make you ask, “Tiger who?”
