It is October and Halloween is just around the corner, plus with AMC’s The Walking Dead back on the air you might be in the mood to shoot some zombies – without having to deal with that whole zombie apocalypse and the breakdown of civilization thing.
This year Champion Targets has introduced its new VisiColor Cartoon Zombie targets that are added to its line of photo-realistic zombies. These cartoon versions off some less menacing targets – for those that might have nightmares about the undead and all that.
There seems to be a strange – and yet somewhat serious – trend in “zombie apocalypse” gear. The truth is that the zombie apocalypse likely won’t ever happen, but movies and TV shows must have people so worried about it that various brands are jumping on board.
While the notion of a zombie apocalypse is likely (and hopefully) just a thing for movies and TVs, the popularity of it clearly is having an impact in the real world. At this week’s SHOT Show in Las Vegas Otis Technology, is introducing the Zombie Gun Cleaning System, which is designed to clean all 5.56MM rifles, 9MM and 45 caliber pistols, and 12 gauge shotguns.
