You don’t have to be in the army to appreciate military time and you don’t have to be in the Swiss Army to understand that Victorinox makes great products. The Victorinox Swiss Army Alpanch Watches – named after the Alpine helicopter base used by the Swiss Air Force – don’t come cheap but these offer a self-winding Swiss mechanical movement, luminous hands and hour markers and a nylon strap with a deployant clasp. Most notably these offer a four-blade-rotor inspired by the force’s twin-rotor Cougar AS 532.

Swiss Army Kit
The Swiss Army name has become kind of generic for anything that does multiple tasks, but only true Victorinox products live up to the true “Swiss Army” name. So when we heard that Victorinox was releasing a Swiss Army Bike Tool we were intrigued.
This is more than a multi-tool – and from the looks of it far better too. It consists of five main components in an impact-resistant plastic case, and includes an L-wrench, a set of plastic tire levers and a selection of commonly used bits along with a stainless steel adapter for mounting said bits on the L-wrench. In other words it offers a little “bit” of just what a cyclists might need and in a compact package.
Swiss Army Watch Has Night Vision
We’ve seen a variety of Swiss Army products from Victorinox, the company behind those multifunction devices and gizmos. One thing that the Swiss Army Knife doesn’t offer is a way to see in the dark, but that’s where the Night Vision watch comes in. This time piece features a series of integrated LED lights that enhance the ability to see the timepiece but also can be used as a flashlight and as a strobe that can be used as an emergency distress signal. The watch also has a red pilot light designed to help find it in the dark. Originally launched back in 2003 the Night Vision has gotten a makeover this fall. Video after the jump
Swiss Army Charger
We’ve seen a number of Swiss Army Knife related products, but Wenger, the maker of the famous blade from the Alps has introduced something completely different, namely a solar panel for outdoor use that includes a built-in rechargeable battery pack for use with smartphone, tablet, MP3 player, digital camera or GPS device. The Wenger solar charger isn’t packed with blades, but it is multifunctional and can be used while stationary or even when hiking as it can strap over a bag or pack.
