No More Lost At Sea

Gate-KeeperWhen you drop something on the beach you can pick it up, but when you drop something when you’re in the water scuba diving it typically means you’ll need to call James Cameron and his deep sea exploration gear to get it back. Next time you’re heading out to the deep water be sure to clip on the Gear Keeper RT4 line of attachment systems.

These feature streamline smaller-sized retractors that are there to give divers some peace of mind that equipment will be where it is needed and with less bulkiness. Divers can grab and use and more importantly know that the gear will retract back into place and not end up at the bottom of the ocean.

The series includes a patented flushing system that clears sand and debris from the unit, is salt-water proof and will withstand high-temperature environments. Continue reading No More Lost At Sea

Dive Computer Casing

The iGills SE-35 is a waterproof case for the iPhone. It will allow users to go very deep as well, up to 40 meters or 130 feet. The polycarbonate housing should protect the camera in the water and even from reasonable drops on land. Each unit is reportedly tested in a hyperbaric chamber to ensure that it will stand up to the depths that scuba divers might go.

While all that is impressive, the SE-35 goes deeper in other ways, and transform an iPhone into a Smart Diving System. Video after the jump

PowerSnorkel for Undersea Adventures

For those who want to do some underwater exploring but don’t want the heavy equipment there is an alternative way to do so and still breathe fresh air. The Floating PowerSnorkel from Power Dive is a free-floating Hookah that allows users to dive to six meters without the need of a tank. The PowerSnorkel Hookah features a pump and motor that float on the surface, via a battery that can run for more than an hour, so users can go (fairly) deep and still get all the air they need. Essentially this is a solution for those looking to do something between snorkeling and scuba diving, but a good one at that. Continue reading PowerSnorkel for Undersea Adventures
