At last week’s Outdoor Retailer Show Winter Market Kamik introduced a boot that will keep your feet dry even when fly fishing or trekking through wet terrain. The Cold Creek won’t keep you high and dry exactly, but the 17 inch height of the boot is high enough for fairly deep water.This American made boot is waterproof and features neoprene and rubber. So maybe with it you will be actually high and dry.

Nike has introduced a new snowboard boot that will light the sky like a full moon. The Nike LunarENDOR QS features LED lights that are powered by an embedded lithium ion battery. Beyond the novelty of lighting up the books promise to provide a softer and more responsive ride on the slopes, while the 3-D molded upper and a Nike Flywire inner lacing system further enhance fit and provide comfort that will have you practically over the moon. Going Asolo
Whether you decide to hike with a friend or hit the trails solo you can do it with the Asolo Piuma, a light but supportive boot. It is heavier than a trail running shoe, so it isn’t meant to replace one – but it still provides natural movement more than a lot of boots. It features a suede/nylon mesh upper and Vibram sole that provides a secure footing on most terrain. While it isn’t waterproof it is meant to be rugged enough for hiking beyond the beaten path.
Adidas On Board
While we are finally heading into the summer weather Adidas is looking ahead. The shoemaker recently announced that it would enter the snowboarding market, and bring out about 60 articles of snowboarding apparel that ranges from base to mid-layers, as well as technical snowboarding jackets and pants.
And since this is a footwear company the new lineup will include The Blauvelt (above) signature book. This has the classic Adidas look and is ready to get on the board – the snowboard that is. We’re sure some boarders can’t wait for winter.
Work Boot for More Than Work
The Chrome Industries 415 Urban Work Boot promises to be waterproof while offering a “sneaker-like” fit. It is really a work boot in the sense that John Travolta was really an “Urban Cowboy,” which is to say it could be used for work but is really meant to be an everyday shoe for flat pedal cycling, skateboarding and just heading to work in wet, slushy late winter/early spring weather. It is a hybrid of a shoe and boot and is ideal for those urban adventures.

Nike Soccer Shoe Laser Strike

Nike just released its Nike T90 Laser IV soccer shoe. The “football” shoe is 20 percent lighter than the previous version. It features a streamlined silhouette that provides enhanced fit and lets wearers feel the ball. The forefoot area has a newly configured adaptive shield design that works with the foot’s natural motion to boost performance. Constructed from high performance synthetic leather, the upper provides a soft and close-to-the-foot fit. On the sole, a new stud design enhances speed and movement, without added weight or pressure.
To coincide with the launch, Nike Football created the T90 Strike Counter on Facebook. This app allows users to log their goals, and recreate the action in a 3D image. Report the spot on the pitch from where a goal was scored; where in the goal the ball went, and what part of the boot (shoe) was struck the ball. The data render a 3D image that can be shared with friends. Participants can also check out the 3D image and input from pro football players.
