Interchangeable lenses can help protect the wearer even as weather conditions change. This smart looking brain bucket is lightweight, and provides a sleek, more aerodynamic profile as well.

Interbike 2012: Eyes on Cébé Eyewear
During our annual pilgrimage down to Las Vegas for Interbike, we had a chance to stop by the Bushnell Eyewear booth to checkout their current lineup. For those of you who are not familiar with the Bushnell Eyewear name, they are the parent company of Bolle and Serengetti – two high end eyewear lines. Hands On: Bollé Tempest with Modulator Lenses
Since the early 1990s, I have been an avid user of the Oakley Mumbo and M-frames with the Sweep lenses for all forms of cycling. They have protected my eyes from tree branches, sun, snow, mud, rocks, flying insects and anything else thrown my way. I never ride without them. They fit my head well and provide excellent coverage keeping the wind out of my eyes during fast descents. I have tried many other types of glasses and yet I keep grabbing my M-frames every time I ride… until now.
At Interbike this year, there were numerous eyewear companies and a number showing off photochromic lenses. Photochromic lenses darken when exposed to ultraviolet rays (UV) and fade back to lighter tint in low light areas or indoors. Shortly after the show, I received a pair of the Bollé Tempest glasses with their version of a photochromic lens, the Modulator, to try myself.

Bollé Storms the Water
With summer just around the corner, you may be gathering and preparing all of your gear to hit the water for some fun. Whether your are an angler, sailor or just enjoy spending time on the water, you may be in the market for some sunglasses to help cut down on that annoying glare. Bollé, one of the many names that Bushnell Outdoor Products of Overland Park, Kansas produces under, has announced the expansion of their Marine line of sunglasses to now include 15 models.
Up to 2011, Bollé already had been offer nine different styles of glasses in their Maine Collection. The Bollé Marine Collection features two specialized mirrored lens hues – Inland Gold for low light conditions and Offshore Blue for the harsher light of open water. Both lenses are polarized to eliminate distracting glare while enabling the wearer to see below the water’s surface.
