The Green Mile

Bicycle chains have seen competition from beltdrives but keep on turning. It isn’t likely we’ll get off the chain gang anytime soon, but possibly the biggest annoying part of the chain might be slowly fading away. That is the greasy, dirty mess than most bike chains become almost immediately.

KMC has introduced a line of chains that feature a coating technology that is eco friendly. It can still fight off rust but feature a whole lot less of the nasty stuff.

Cleaning a Bike Chain as Smooth as Butter

Cleaning a bicycle chain can be dirty work, but the Butter’s b1 Chain Holder could make it a bit easier. Just remove the rear wheel and pop on the b1.

It is made of machined billet alloy while a stainless steel post holds it together. This will keep the chain in place, making it easy to clean, but it could be good for those who pack up their bikes for travel as well.
