Buck Wear has introduced a new shirt to support breast cancer research. The tongue-in-cheek pink shirt is part of the new pink “Save the Racks” series of shirts and hoodies. According to Buck Wear, any huntress can show her support in style, and the shirt is available in both Light Pink and Hilconia, while the design features a trophy buck so cleverly and carefully illustrated strictly of the iconic pink ribbon logo recognized around the globe as the symbol for the fight against breast cancer. The words ʻHunt for a Cureʼ tie both passions together for a perfectly matched message of hope.

A Star is Born
Starlight Appeal has introduced a new line of cycling clothing designed for adventure racing. The custom clothes maker’s Starlight Adventure Line is available for custom orders but will also be offered as part of its retail line. These are designed to meet the needs of adventure racers and have no rear pockets – making it easier to wear a hydration pack or backpack, while the jerseys will feature a small gel pocket on the side panels to provide easy access.
The lineup is made of lightweight SPF 50 Coolmax with Lycra mesh side panels and full hidden zippers, and these feature relaxed sleeve openings. The jerseys are also available in a summer-weight long -sleeved version. The shorts are available in cycling and tri versions and have flat pockets on the side panels to store gels or a compass, and these feature a laser cut silicon-infused Lycra power band for extra comfort. The Adventure Line has no order minimums, and current production time is six weeks.
Fog Free
With the continued Arctic blast – aka the “Polar Vortex” – that doesn’t seem to want to leave it can be cold out there. A scarf over the face can help keep the chill at bay, but if you’re wearing goggles you might find yourself in a fog. The new North45 scarf – produced up north in Canada where they know a thing or two about the cold – is made of Merino wool.
Its two piece design along one part to wrap around the chin, protecting the neck and lower face, while the second half wraps the nose and this allows for hot air to be exhaled so the scarf won’t get wet and it won’t fog the goggles either.
Shirt to a T
Sure you can hop on the bike with any old T-shirt, but the Kitsbow Ride Tee is one that is meant for a ride. It is made from New Zealand Merino wool, and each shirt has embroidered nylon shoulder panels for added abrasion wear resistance along with a stitched chest past pocket. It is available in three colors including Olive, Gray Heather, and Charcoal Heather.
Sizes range from XS to XL so it should also fit to a T.
Paint It On
One thing that this endless winter has taught us is that smartphones are hard to use with gloves. Sure there are plenty of specialty gloves that work with touchscreens, but Nanotips has another option – a special paint that transforms most gloves into ones that are touchscreen-compatible.
The company recently completed a successful Kickstarter campaign to bring out two versions of its product; one for leather and another for rubber gloves. Each comes in a little bottle that can be applied directly to gloves, and there are about 20 to 30 applications per bottle. The special touchscreen nano-particle paint is washable and durable, but can be reapplied as needed. Video after the jump
Share the Message
ShareTheDamnRoad’s line of apparel has a simple message – and for spring the company has introduced a jersey that says it all. The “Don’t Run Me Over” jersey is attire with a message. It features a silcone gripper, a men’s or women’s club cut, full zipper and three rear pockets. Perhaps drivers will finally get the message.
Giro’s New Road
Giro is ready for spring with its additions to the New Road clothing line that features its first ever women’s offerings. The Giro New Road for Spring 2014 includes base layers, tops, bottoms and outerwear. New Road apparel coordinates with other Giro cycling products including helmets, gloves and shoes.
The company promises to offer the same freedom to mix and match for women that it has long offered for male riders. We hope to have more details soon.
Seeing the Pixel
When it comes to TVs and other display technology what you don’t want to see are the individual pixels. This is why higher resolution looks better. However, there is another kind of Pixel technology that is being developed that is actually all about being seen.
Apparel maker Sugoi has introduced a new line of fabric that allows the entire surface of a garment to be reflective when hit with light. Instead of accents on the new Zap cycling jacket that work as reflectors, the entire jacket can light up at night and ensure that riders or runners can’t be missed. Video after the jump

A Mightly Wind
Nike’s new Hyperadapt Wind Jacket, which was released last month, might just blow you away. This jacket features four-way stretch technology but with a sweater-like feel that is windproof and rain-resistant, while elastic cuffs will keep the sleeves from moving up and down during the swing.
Nike also used reclaimed materials – in this case recycled coffee grounds – to produce the windproof coating on the outer shell. This helped reduce odor from perspiration while also assisting in UV protection. It is ready for spring… if that ever gets here!

Under Armour Rearmed With U.S. Speedskating
Despite an underwhelming performance at last the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, the U.S. Speedskating team isn’t putting the blame on “suitgate.” The company has signed a deal to provide the U.S. team with uniforms through 2022.
This was the first U.S. medal shutout since 1984. Beyond the talk that perhaps it was the uniforms were the culprit for the poor showing, training strategy and funding woes were noted. Back to the drawing board and back to the training.
Nike Doesn’t Sweat It
While this winter could hold on for a while that could also mean a cool spring is on the horizon. Nike will have you covered for the golf course with the new Innovation Woven Cover-Up, which is designed to move with the body while keeping the wearer warm and dry. Unlike a jacket this sweater promises to offer more range of movement. It is part of the Nike Golf’s Stay Protected Line, and it features lightweight wind-and-water resistant Dri-FIT stretch woen body along with 3D knit sleeves that promises to keep warmth in. Once again we have to say Nike has golfers covered with this sweater, which arrived at retail last month.

Quik Gear
Isaora and Quiksilver have introduced a stylish new line of attire for hitting the slopes this winter. The Rare Earth Snowboarding Gear is the result of a collaboration between the two companies, and includes matching jacket, pants, baselayer and even a bag. It has the look that will likely turn heads when you fly down the mountain.
Just don’t wait to grab this outfit. Something tell us it will sell out as quick as the name suggests.
