Nike Golf Goes Back to it Core

Nike Golf has returned to its core, the Speedlock RZN core technology that is. For the second time in just three years the company is looking to transform golf ball technology and it is building up its RZN core technology yet again. Nike Golf is adding four golf balls to the new RZN franchise – RZN Platinum, RZN Black, RZN Red and RZN White. These are each designed to deliver more distance thanks to interlocking geometry that helps eliminate the slipping that normally occurs between a traditional, smooth-surface core and the outer layer. This means better energy transfer through the layers and all the way to the core.

The result is more consistent and stable ball flight. It almost sounds as if Nike Golf is making it too easy.

Buddy Bike Steps Up

Our Friends at Buddy Bike announced that the company has donated five of their alternative inline tandem bicycles, called the Buddy Bike, to adaptive cycling programs and special needs organizations. These donations were to support adaptive cycling, with the goal to put more people on bikes – especially riders with special needs who may feel they don’t otherwise have a safe option for cycling. World Snowboard Day Coming Soon

It’s beginning to look a whole lot like Christmas, but with the white stuff coming it also means it is looking a lot like World Snowboard Day, which is now in its eighth year.

World Snowboard Day is an international event created in 2006 by EuroSIMA, the World Snowboard Federation and Outdoor Sports Valley, in partnership with SnowSports Industries America, Core Power Asia and TTR Pro Snowboarding, to provide everybody the opportunity to discover, for free, snowboarding as a sport and culture across the world’s summits.

Drift This Way

Drift Innovation has announced that its new action camera, the Drift Ghost S, is ready for an adventure. The company claims this one has the longest battery life – three and a half hours – of any wearable camera on the market. The camera also offers a built-in two-inch LCD screen and it is designed to be waterproof up to nine feet by itself or up to 196 feet with a special case.

It can shoot 1080p video at 60fps and offers a 300-degree rotating lens, Wi-Fi video streaming while recording and it even comes with a two-way remote control. This does appear to be a Ghost that offers the most!

Don’t Pin it On

If it is race day then chances are you either brought or were handed some safety pins to attach your number. It is hard to believe that in the 21st century that racers in so many sports are using what is basically 19th century technology to secure the numbers to the clothing. Not only is there a risk of injury if the pin opens, but it isn’t good for the jersey or shirt.
