Road Bike Grips Heat Up!

For years motorcyclists or snowmobile riders have had the option of heated grips to warm their hands during times of colder weather. If your hands get too cold, the ability to control your ride can be made much more difficult and become dangerous. Coming this September, A’ME Grips is introducing their new Heated Road Bike Wrap for cyclists. This unique product will be a nice cold weather option for road cyclists, cyclocross riders and bike commuters; and provide a comfortable hand temperature to improve blood flow reducing fatigue and maximizes dexterity and performance.

This wrap is made in the U.S.A. and features bluPulse ‘Adaptive Thermal Regulation’ technology. This state-of-the-art technology combines intelligent micro electronics with thermal sensors in each wrap, and allows a rider to select between six temperature settings with a simple push of a button. A blue LED indicates both the selected temperature setting and heating status while the micro processor varies the amount of heat generated to maintain the selected temperature. These wraps allow for comfortable hand temperatures in all riding conditions, reduce fatigue, and maintain finger dexterity which improves a rider’s control of the bike.

The A’ME Heated Road Bike Wrap features:
– Duxbutt™ weatherproof connectors.
– Simple push button, 6-setting temperature adjustment with LED lights.
– bluPulse ‘Adaptive Thermal Regulation’ Technology.
– 6 Month Grip Replacement on Manufacture Defect.
– 2-Year Half-Price Replacement Warranty on grips for damage due to fall or excessive wear.

If you are a mountain bike rider or use flat bars, don’t worry as A’ME already has you covered. For $199 you can have the complete A’ME Heated 1.3 Tri Grips kit which includes grips, mounting system, battery pack and the charger. Individual parts can be purchased separately as they wear out or break.

Pricing for the A’ME Heated Road Bike Wrap has not been announced, but it should be fairly close to the price of the MTB complete kit. If keeping your digits warms during the cold days of winter you’ll have to get a (A’ME) grip!
