Keeping Water Off of a Cyclist’s Back in Style

The British company, Water off a Duck’s Back, is set to release this fall a new men’s cycling rain coat designed to be both functional on the bike as well as fashionable after the bike is parked. Currently Water off a Duck’s Back has three different styles of coats for the ladies, but none for men. The new men’s coat is approximately the length of a peacoat, but is tailored to allow movement in the shoulders and arms where needed for cycling.

Along with style and cut designed for use while cycling, this British manufactured coat also has a‘hidden’ feature. When the cuffs are folded down, the collar is pooped up and the button strip on the back of the coat is turned over, wide reflective strips are revealed to hopefully allow the rider to be seen easier in low light situations.

The men’s Water off a Duck’s Back coat, as the name implies, is waterproof and breathable. Included with the coat is a detachable hood which can be stored in one of the two large pockets. The coat is manufactured from a material that allows it to be rolled up and stored in a bag when not needed, but is also crumple resistant so that you will still look good when you throw it on or after it comes out of the wash.

The men’s coat is available in four sizes (small to extra large) and two colors – black and navy blue. Currently there is no noted distributors in the USA, but Water off a Duck’s Back will ship worldwide. The MSRP for the men’s coat is approximately $230 plus $18 for tracked shipping (all based on today‘s exchange rate). So if you want to look stylish as you battle the rain on your bike, waddle on over to Water off a Duck’s Back to order yourself up a coat.
