HeathQuest On Station

There is no denying that kids today need to get out and get a little more active. And maybe putting them through some workout stations will be just the thing to get them on the path to better fitness. BCI Burke have announced a new initiative with its HealthQuest Fitness Stations.

Designed for ages 13 and up, HealthQuest Fitness Stations provide the tools and information needed to complete a total body workout for beginner, intermediate and advanced users. Each individual can work at their own pace and intensity, modifying the suggested exercises, circuits and workouts to suit their own needs.

These stations combine the advanced science of total body workout and conditioning technology with good old-fashioned playground fun. Each of the HealthQuest Fitness Stations includes four circuits addressing the elements of a whole body workout from start to finish. Separate workout stations address upper body, stretching and balance, core strength and cardiovascular exercises.

To help get ensure that the stations would meet the needs, the company called in Lynn Roethke, Olympic medal winner and personal fitness trainer.

“Learning about the benefits of getting and staying fit at a young age is important, and establishing regular exercise habits will ensure a lifetime of health and well-being” says two-time judo Olympian and Silver medalist Roethke. “But the good news is that you can begin at any age! Burke’s HealthQuest Fitness Stations provide an excellent variety of workout opportunities and guidance for anyone, at any fitness and experience level. And they’re designed to be fun!”

The stations are available either as a complete workout circuit program or individually, allowing customers to expand their exercise circuit as budget and space allow. Now the trick is getting the kids to put down the controllers for a bit and get outside and on station!
