A company on a mission to keep sweat from rolling down your forehead and into your eyes while working out is Headsweats Perspiration Technology Headwear. The company that started out with performance hats and visors is now venturing into beanies, and even keeping you free from sweat – yet still warm – in the winter. The company just released a winter line that includes the Super Duty Headband, Toaster Beanie, Fleece Cycling Cap and Fleece Race Hat.
Headsweats introduced the Super Duty line in the spring, which it’s now adding to. The line uses the company’s proprietary Eventure stretch elastic fabric. The Super Duty Headband is made with Eventure stretch elastic, which allows the headband to fit different sized heads. The band is made with a triple layer of Eveneture fabric and an Eventure terry sweatband sandwiched n between, which provides “Perspiration Technology.”
The Toaster Beanie is a midcap beanie with Headsweats’ “Perspiration Technology” features. It’s made from Eventure Spandex with an Eventure Knit and Eventure Terry sweatband. The beanie can be worn on its own to shield the head, plus absorbs sweat. While Headsweats is heavily promoted by Cycling race announcer Bob Roll, it’s design works for many sports. The most popular, however, are cycling and running. The beanie has a low enough profile so that you can wear it under a helmet for cycling, or also for skiing.
For colder weather wear, the Fleece Cycling Cap and Fleece Race Hat use mid-weight Eventure Fleece. Both caps have an extended ear and neck guard for extra warmth and protection.
