WTB packed several features into its new Volt saddle line of all-mountan saddles. The Volt saddle line was developed in collaboration with mountain bike pioneer Mark Slate, as well as WTBs team All Mountain Pro riders Mark Weir and Jason Moeschler.
Features include the “Whale Tail” design has a flared tale to keep you in the seat. The new design allows riders to push back and gain leverage on climbs, while at the same time anchoring hips on aggressive cornering. A broad neck area makes the seat more comfortable for extended pedaling. WTB included a proprietary Love Channel, which protects your body from unwanted pressure. The Comfort Zone, which comes on high-end WTB saddles, are cut away windows at the base of the saddle to provide additional relief from pressure on sensitive areas.
Four models in the Volt line include SLT, a 220 gram saddle; Pro, a 246 gram saddle; Team, a 229 gram saddle; and Race, a 287 gram saddle.
