On a hot day, especially race day, it’s difficult to stay motivated and focused on a run. There’s a number of new products out there that help you stay cool, and now HeadCoolie joins those offerings.
The HeadCoolie headband is a lightweight, insulated cooling headband with an internal pocket that holds a re-usable cold gel pack. This headband has a Velcro closure so it stays put around your head while running.
Many runners at the Boston Marathon got to sample the headband. “The HeadCoolie is the solution for consistent cooling off between break stations,” said Holly Ruma, president of IPC Medical Corp, the company that makes HeadCoolie. “It gives runners the comfort and support they need to push through that extra mile.”
