The golf club and the hockey stick have a similar L-shaped bend, but that may be the extent of the similarities. That is until now. Hockey equipment manufacturer CCM just announced a partnership with TaylorMade to create a line of hockey sticks that will be ‘best in sport.’
The first product to come out of the partnership is the CCM RBZ hockey stick. The new stick was developed in collaboration with TaylorMade composite engineers. It features a revolutionary blade technology.
The company isn’t making much about the new CCM RBZ hockey stick known until the June 22 NHL Entry Draft. What CCM is saying is that NHL Rookie of the Month Gabriel Landeskog of the Colorado Avalanche has been using the stick since early March. For the remainder of the season NHL rookie Ryan Nugent-Hopkins of the Edmonton Oilers will be using the CCM RBZ stick as well. The CCM RBZ hockey still will be available later this year.
